Cast Iron Sewer Replacement and CIPP Branch Lining in Downtown Austin, TX

A property owner in Downtown Austin, Texas contacted Drain Connection for help rehabilitating an aging sewer system. After evaluating the existing piping, our team determined that different sections of the system required different repair methods based on their condition.
Some sections of the existing cast iron sewer pipe were too damaged or deteriorated to be successfully rehabilitated with CIPP lining and required traditional pipe replacement. Our team replaced those sections with new sewer piping while preserving the portions of the system that were suitable for trenchless rehabilitation.
For several existing branch lines, we installed CIPP (Cured-In-Place Pipe) lining from inside the existing pipes. This trenchless sewer repair method allowed us to create a new structural pipe within the existing branch lines while limiting the amount of excavation required throughout the property.
By combining cast iron sewer replacement and CIPP trenchless pipe lining, Drain Connection was able to address the sections that needed replacement while rehabilitating the portions that could be preserved. This approach minimized unnecessary excavation while providing a customized solution based on the condition of each section of the sewer system.
